The course covers critical topics including state and federal regulations, nurse delegation programs, budgeting and marketing strategies, life safety compliance, and team leadership. Who should take the 24 hour course?

This course is for aspiring managers of assisted living facilities in Texas. Topics include: state & federal regulations, resident care, staff training, budgeting & marketing, life safety compliance, and team leadership. Once completed you can manage/operate an assisted living.

Who should take the 12 hour course?

The 12 hour Renewal Course is required for all managers of assisted living facilities. The annual training requirement can be found in HHS regulatory guidance as referenced above.

Why do I need the 24 manager's course?

In order to operate/manage an ALF, Heath and Human Services requires assisted living managers receive initial 24 of initial training. Who should take the 8 hour or 4 hour course add-ons?

Managers who have received between 4 to 8 hours in CEUS or training hours in various organizations, events, or educational experiences. These managers need remaining training hours to satisfy the HHS and Texas Administrative Code requirements.
