Alexis P. Suter Band is a three-time Blues Music Award (BMA) nominee, including recognition in the prestigious Koko Taylor and Best Soul Blues Female Artist categories. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY in a musically gifted family, she grew up believing that music should be both emotional and spiritual. With a booming, soul-stirring voice that moves effortlessly from pained passion to explosive power, Suter has become a commanding presence in the American blues and soul-blues scene. She and the Alexis P. Suter Band have released six albums, earning fans across North America and beyond.
The Alexis P. Suter Band is a powerful six-piece ensemble blending blues, soul, and rock with undeniable authenticity. The band gained early recognition through regular performances at Levon Helm’s legendary Midnight Rambles in Woodstock, NY. Featuring longtime collaborators Ray Grappone, Jimmy Bennett, Daniel Weiss, Peter Bennett, and Vicki Bell, the group has been creating music together for nearly three decades. Their live shows are known for their deep emotional connection—moving audiences from dancing and singing along one moment to tears the next through soul-baring ballads and spirit-lifting performances.
