Speaker Bio:
David Bereit is an internationally acclaimed pro-life leader, strategic advisor, and passionate Catholic convert. When Planned Parenthood opened a facility in his Texas town, David mobilized 60 churches and thousands of volunteers—driving the abortion chain out of local schools, stripping it of taxpayer funding, and ultimately closing it—prompting Planned Parenthood to label the town “the most anti-choice place in the nation.”
David then founded and led 40 Days for Life, growing it into the world’s largest grassroots pro-life mobilization. Under his leadership, 2,000 leaders and 750,000 volunteers across 700 cities saved 14,643 lives, helped 177 abortion workers quit, and closed 96 abortion facilities. David recently launched the Life Leadership Conference—unifying and empowering the pro-life movement through strategic coordination, shared messaging, targeted mobilization, leadership development, and a $30 million venture fund.
David has addressed over 1,000 audiences and a million people worldwide, raised $100 million for pro-life and Catholic causes, and advised countless ministries. His work has earned accolades and awards from the Pontifical Academy for Life, Legatus, the Sisters of Life, and Students for Life. He was also named among the “50 Greatest Pro-Life Leaders of the Last 50 Years.”
After attending Mass with his Catholic wife, Margaret, for 28 years, David joined the Church in 2018. The Bereits live in Fredericksburg, Virginia, and are parents to two adult children—Sister Gloria Christi, a Nashville Dominican, and Patrick, who teaches and serves the Church in Morocco.
