Alex Latorre is part of a new generation of magicians coming out of Spain, blending technology, design, engineering, and the art to create highly visual modern magic. Alex Latorre’s Lecture: “JOLT (Just One Lateral Thought)” is a completely brand new lecture with different tricks and methods. The lecture is built around his personal methodology for creating magic, with the central idea being that it often only takes one lateral thought, one shift in perspective, to become a magic creator. Throughout the lecture, he will be teaching 7 effects and routines, with a mix of released material and unreleased ideas. Some of the released material includes effects such as “Air Vanish” and “Juxtapad,” but over half of the lecture consists of brand new concepts, methods, and routines that have never been taught before. He will also be sharing an effect that hasn’t been released yet, so attendees will get the very first glimpse at it. By the end, we’ll all be doing a short live creativity exercise with the audience to demonstrate the process in real time.
