About the show:

One of Nashville’s preeminent alto saxophonists, composers, and educators Alex Graham returns to the Jazz Cave for an electrifying performance featuring some of Nashville’s most celebrated musicians and improvisers. Having performed with a variety of artists including Diane Schuur, The Four Tops, Nnenna Freelon, The Temptations, Michael Weiss, Aaron Goldberg, Mark Levine, The O’ Jays, Wessell Anderson, Jim Rotondi, Rodney Whitaker, Peter Bernstein, Steve Davis, Joe Magnarelli, Sam Yahel, Louis Smith and Dena Derose, Alex’s genre-bending musicality will be on full-display in a one-night only exploration of sound, improvisation, and new arrangements and compositions. Alex’s groups have performed at festivals and clubs all over the United States and have opened concerts for Dave Brubeck, The Count Basie Orchestra and John Pizzarelli, among others. On November 15, join Alex’s Psychedelic Doomsday Machine featuring Emmanuel Echem (trumpet), David Rodgers (rhodes), Brian Allen (bass), and Marcus Finnie (drums).
