Get ready for a cozy evening of music with Alex Bondonno and Joss Peach bringing their jazz voices right into the living room. This in person event will celebrate original music from this prolific pair of musicians, paying homage to their influences of Thelonious Monk, Abudllah Ibrahim, Horace Silver and many more. Atmospheric and deeply communiative music in the laid back atmosphere of Alex's living room.

Alex Bondonno is a mutli-instrumentalist and band leader. Current projects include The Brighton Jazz Mafia, a full 16 piece big band that performs orginals and contemporary jazz, The Soultastics: a postmodern swing group and he performs a bassist with funk band: The Zugzwang. Alex’s main focus at the moment is his group: Water From An Ancient Well, on which he collaborates with Joss, performing the sublime music of South African musician Abdullah Ibrahim. They plan to release an album of this project’s music in May.

BAFTA winning composer Joss Peach has been a mainstay of the south coast jazz scene for the past 20 years, playing regularly with the finest local musicians and running his own creative projects, including the Full Circle Quartet which also features Josephine Davies on saxes and the Lighthouse Quartet featuring Andy Williams on guitar.

Other current projects include 'The Joss Peach Swinging Six' which performs for swing dance events and brand new trio 'Rogue Three' which is currently working on a debut album of original material, to be released this year.

Most of his time is dedicated to his career as a composer for television programmes which keeps him out of mischief (mostly) as he scores the music for shows such as Sesame St, Tee and Mo, Jojo and Gran Gran, Pip and Posy, and most recently collaborating with MOBO award winning Yolanda Brown on the score writing for Ten Little.
