Our annual church retreat/revival at aldersgate camp
♥️Special guest speaker this year will be former Irvine free Methodist pastor Mark Parker
✅✅😇😇Make plans now to attend and invite someone who use to come to our church when mark was our pastor during his long tenure from 1984-1992
This ought to be a wonderful day. 😇
✅Service at 10:30 in the chapel
✅After service then lunch around the swing ring.
We will have hot dogs and picnic items
✅We will have zip lining at 1:30 and a hayride at 3 for any interested
✅Bring a dish, bring some chairs and drinks for your family.
✅Let Rebecca Click know if u plan to attend aldersgate and if u want to do the zipline and or hayride so rebecca can get an accurate count to give Aldersgate on our contract.
Mark and Dawn are planning right now on spending the night the night before on Saturday October the third in one of the creek sides at aldersgate if others from church stay also.
✅Would anyone else like to spend the night in the creeksides? I would love to. ✅✅If u want to stay ✅✅✅✅let me know asap so we can reserve the rooms in advance so the room will be available.
✅If u don’t want to spend the night on Saturday night perhaps u would like to come up earlier to aldersgate on Saturday afternoon/evening and visit with the Parker’s at aldersgate and enjoy the great outdoors too
✅We could meet anywhere from 3 or later and bring stuff for supper or meet later at like 5 at el Ranchito and eat before going up to aldersgate or maybe u can only eat and visit there at el Ranchito . That is fine.
✅Then we could go up and sit around the swing ring and sing songs on the guitar and talk and then have a bonfire and s’mores at dark and sing with the guitar
😇Mark was always a great worship leader also; this would be a great time.
✅✅Just some ideas let me know what ideas u like and want to do if any.

✅✅✅if u want to spend the night Saturday night i need to know asap to reserve the room and to be sure there is a room available. If we had enough people who wanted to stay all night we could rent a cabin instead of creeksides.

✅✅✅Also invite people who may have been coming to the church when Mark was there from 1984-92. ✅✅Invite them to the church service on Sunday and other events on Sunday and also ✅✅invite them to anything else we have on Saturday maybe they could come to something on one of two days or come to both. 😇
