Welcome... to AlcheMystic ~ a journey into Astrology, Ecstatic Dance + Sound.This experience is a container for all who identify as woman / womxn / femme and non-binary + trans folks who feel called to it!
Wear comfortable clothing~ and if you are able, bring fruit! 🍇🍑🥝
Brooke the Bluejay Fae will begin with a guided visualization + talk about the current astrology, which on November 21st will center around the rise of the Age of Aquarius with the Sun's turn into Sagittarius and its trine with Pluto's fresh entry into fixed air ~ We will explore these energies internally, and then bring them out through creative ritual.
Angela Dragon will then facilitate an Ecstatic Dance carefully crafted with music from around the world featuring or produced by women and femme artists. Imagine the freedom you can experience while fully embodying the liberating joy of movement, free from the male gaze! We'll begin with a brief opening circle, followed by a 60-minute, free-form dance journey where we let go of judgment of ourselves and others, let go of verbal communication, kick off our shoes, and move however our bodies choose. It is often cathartic and liberating!
Following the dance, Krista will be guiding us through a sound journey with different instruments for you to melt & integrate your ecstasis. We will then gather into circle to share songs, our voice, & other rhythmic explorations before closing the space and opening up to our fruit potluck ♥️
