You are invited to the exclusive album release party for Mariachi Mestiza y Mala Mujer. Andrea Daniela is showcasing a new sound she calls mariachi alternativo - that breaks all the rules. This evening will feature special guest performances, an art gallery , music video screening and of course live music of never-before-heard songs by Andrea Daniela and her fusion band. This live show will be raw, vulnerable, personal and powerful while taking you on a journey between tradition and innovation told by a Mexican American woman proving that art knows no boundaries or borders.

Andrea Daniela is an official SXSW 2026 artist & will also be performing at La Onda Showcase on 3/14 and Hotel Vegas on 3/18.

About the Artist:

Andrea Daniela was born to be on stage. A dynamic singer, violinist, dancer, and actor raised in Houston, she blends deep mariachi roots with a fearless, modern edge. Her career has taken her to international stages and acclaimed theatrical productions, earning recognition for both her powerful voice and magnetic presence.

Now based in Austin, Andrea steps into a new era with her debut album “Mariachi Mestiza y Mala Mujer” a bold fusion of mariachi, cumbia, pop, and hip-hop that celebrates culture, duality, womanhood, and self-made artistry. As the founder of Houston’s first all-female mariachi band and the creative force behind her own entertainment agency, she continues to redefine what mariachi means for the next generation.
