Join us for an unforgettable solo piano performance by Professor Albert Tiu from the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music in Penang. The concert will feature a captivating repertoire, starting with Johann Sebastian Bach’s Concerto in the Italian Style BWV 971, followed by Robert Schumann’s Piano Sonata No. 3 in F minor, Op. 14, a compelling work often described as a concerto without orchestra. After a brief intermission, Albert Tiu will perform his own arrangement of Sergei Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2 in C minor, Op. 18.
