Join us for a free, joyful all-day celebration honoring Albert Lea’s rich heritage and traditional family values!Enjoy live Christian and patriotic music in the gazebo, inspirational speakers on faith and family, fun games for the kids (sack races, tug-of-war, Bible trivia relay), delicious food trucks including Chick-fil-A, La Borinqua Puerto Rican Cuisine, and Just Add Syrup, plus fresh popcorn from the Knights of Columbus Council 1590 and Fairy Floss Shoppe cotton candy.
Music by Josh Edwards, Todd Utpadel, Natania Raatz, Karen Baptist Church, Casa De Oracion, Crossroads Church Youth Band, and recital performances by Joyous Melodies Studio and Madison Nelson's students!
Flag ceremonies to open and close the event by the American Legion, including bugling Reveille and Taps.
Speakers and presenters include keynote speaker Bob Allen Kroll on father wounds, American Legion on flag etiquette and folding, a magic, juggling, and comedy show by Randy Christensen, a group discussion with Christian educators, and presentations by Pastors Ryan Quigley and Brandon Schettler!
There will be community booths, an evening hymn sing-along with candles, and plenty of fellowship under the summer sky.
This is a positive, welcoming day for all families — a chance to celebrate what built our community and create beautiful memories together.

Sponsored by Knights of Columbus Council 1590, so donations are tax deductible, but the event is non-denominational. Local Christian churches are welcomed to join us with planning and events!
