THE FEAST:
- TURSHI: an assortment of fermented vegetables
- BUREK: savory pie made with thin layers of dough filled with seasoned ground meat and onion. Served with Kos, a drinkable yogurt
- TAVE DHEU: baked dish made with tender lamb & beef, onions, and spices, folded into a creamy yogurt-and-flour sauce
- CORN BREAD & KAJMAK: a rich and airy dairy spread
- CEVAPA: Albanian sausage
- ROASTED POTATOES: baked with vegeta – the quintessential Balkan spice blend, and olive oil
- VILLAGE SALAD: cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers, onions, feta cheese, vinaigrette
FOR DESSERT:
- BAKLAVA: layered pastry made with delicate filo dough, toasted nuts, warm spices, and syrup glaze
- TALUMBA: a beloved Balkan dessert of golden, deep fried dough soaked in cold syrup
- ÇAJ MALIT: traditional herbal mountain tea from Sava's birthplace
