Alan Broadbent is a Grammy Award-winning pianist, composer, and arranger whose remarkable career spans decades of collaboration with some of jazz's most celebrated artists. Born in New Zealand, Broadbent is internationally recognized for his work with Charlie Haden's Quartet West, Woody Herman, Natalie Cole, Sheila Jordan, and Chet Baker. He has earned two Grammy Awards, including honors for his arrangements of Natalie Cole's When I Fall in Love and Shirley Horn's Lonely Town. In addition to his performing career, Broadbent serves as Professor of Jazz Studies at NYU Steinhardt.
Joining him is acclaimed bassist Harvie S, one of the most respected and versatile musicians in modern jazz. Known for his distinctive sound and virtuosic technique, Harvie has performed and recorded with an extraordinary roster of jazz greats including Michael Brecker, Chick Corea, Kenny Barron, John Scofield, Paquito D'Rivera, James Moody, Yusef Lateef, Sheila Jordan, Amy London, and The Manhattan Transfer. With more than 400 recordings as a sideman and over 40 releases as a leader or co-leader, Harvie continues to captivate audiences worldwide. His latest album, Bright Dawn (Origin Records), has received widespread critical acclaim.
