Scallywompus Milestone Race Series – Your Road to Marathon Season Starts HereAugust–November 2026
Four races. Eighteen weeks. One goal: get you fully prepared for marathon season.
This series is built for runners training for the San Antonio Marathon/Half, BCS Marathon/Half, or anyone who wants structured, high-energy milestone races that keep you accountable and connected.
Each event lines up with your long-run progression and brings the entire training community together. Show up, put in the work, and arrive at December race season ready.

Race 1 – Remember the Alamo…Beer!
August 8, 2026
13.1 Half Marathon, 10K, 5K, 2-Person Relay, 4-Person Relay
Race 2 – Battle of Salado Creek
September 12, 2026
13.1 Half Marathon, 10 Mile, 5 Mile, 5K
Race 3 – Battle of Hillotes
October 10, 2026
13.1 Half Marathon, 10K, 5K
Race 4 – Battle of Leon Creek
November 14, 2026
20 Mile, 10 Mile, 5K
Complete all four—onsite or virtual—and earn a special bonus medal.

Race Day Essentials:
- Arrive early for bib pickup and start-line prep
- Wear your bib on the front, unfolded, for accurate timing
- Confirm your information and results before leaving
- Notify timing staff if you do not finish
- Bring a change of clothes and enjoy the awards ceremony
- Invite friends or family—volunteering is a great way to be part of the energy
Virtual Option:
Can’t make it on race day? Switch to virtual (preferably by Thursday before the race). Run when you’re able—no deadline and no pressure. Full instructions are on our website under the Virtual tab.
