The Butt Drama Circle Christmas PantoThe wicked Abanazer (Michael Given King) is seeking the magic lamp that contains the all-powerful Genie (Rory Farrell) so that he can rule the world, and is just steps away from succeeding!
Is all hope lost? No! Help is at hand! A family posse of wannabe heroes are here to foil
Abanazer’s evil scheme! The innocent local lad, Aladdin (Kyle McLaughlin) his brother, the cheeky Wishee Washee (Kevin Beirne) and their fearsome mother, washerwoman Widow Twankey (Desmond Crawford) are ready to intervene and save the day!
Throw in a magic carpet (maybe), a mystical Slave of the Ring (Rachel Marley), the
Emperor of China (Dean Gillespie), the beautiful Princess Jasmine (Grace Quinn), So-Shi (Jasmine’s lady-in-waiting) Doireann McMahon and a couple of inept police officers Ping (Nicole Laverty) and Pong (Bernie Thompson) and you have all the ingredients for a fantastic tale and great entertainment.
