Nick Gill and Oxford Classic Jazz pay tribute to the great Al Bowlly, arguably the most popular and successful singer of the 1930's. Although his life was tragically cut short, Bowlly's recordings ensured the enduring popularity of hundreds of songs including Blue Moon, Goodnight Sweetheart and Love is the Sweetest Thing. Relive the heady romance of his musical era and learn about the life and times of this British crooner and heartthrob. Admission £15 (£10 to WOCA members) includes free hot and cold drinks, croissant and fruit.
