Level: Open level - class tempo, choreo difficulty and speed are best optimized for beginner/intermediate solo jazz dancers.

The Shim Sham is originally a tap dance routine that has taken many forms danced in soft shoes as well already in its heyday. The one you’ll learn in this workshop is the version by the famous jazz dancers of the 1940's, Al Minns & Leon James. This, just as ’the regular’ (Frankie’s) Shim Sham, Tranky Doo, and the Big Apple, are routines that are handy in any swing dancer’s pocket, as they are often danced together in socials.
