Join us for a special tango weekend in Helsinki with Argentine dancers and teachers Yael & Francisco, bringing their experience from Buenos Aires.With over 10 years of experience, they have taught at renowned tango spaces such as La Viruta Tango Club and El Cxuce Tango Studio. Their teaching focuses on body technique, musicality, and expanding your possibilities on the dance floor.
🗓 Workshops Program
⌚ Friday
• 18:00–19:15 Tango (all levels): Sequences with ganchos & barridas for social dancing
• 19:30–20:50 Tango (All levels): 🎵 Rhythm vs Melody – understanding musical interpretation
⌚ Saturday
• 13:30–14:45 Men’s Technique (All levels): Enrosques, lápices & balance in giros
• 13:30–14:45 Women’s Technique (All levels): Giro technique and piques(adornos)
• 15:00–16:15 Tango (Int/Adv): Rhythm DARIENZO: Body weight and strong pisada (footwork) . Combining rebotes and cruces.
• 16:30–17:45 Vals: rhythm and with Cadenas(All leves) Different rhythmic combinations for Vals. Cadenas (chains) and linked movements for the dance floor.
⌚ Sunday
• 15:00–16:15 Milonga (All levels): Milonga Traspie
• 16:30–18:00 Tango Variaciones (Int/Adv): Speed and control in giros, combining different elements.
⚠️ Registration in couples is strongly recommended.
Single registrations will be placed on a waiting list until balanced.
