Akron Pride Festival Volunteer Training - Option 2

Interested in volunteering for the 2026 Akron Pride Festival? Come join us for one of our volunteer training sessions!
This is option 2 of 2, held at the Akron-Summit County Public Library (Main Branch, Room 2AB).
At this session, we will review general volunteer information, specific volunteer jobs that will be available, how to sign up for your volunteer shifts, and cover some educational information (cultural humility and "LGBTQ+ 101").
Light refreshments will be available for in-person attendees. There will also be a virtual attendance option available. Please register on our volunteer portal (and create an account if you haven't already) at the link below--all registrants will receive the Zoom link closer to the meeting date.
Volunteers who attend either training session will get access to shift sign-up earlier than the general public, giving you a better chance to secure the volunteer job you want! We hope to see you at a training session, or at the festival.
