2026 LOCAL REGISTRATION INFORMATION
STOCK, SUPERSTOCK, & MASTERS
Local date is Saturday, June 6 th, 2026
Rain Date is Sunday June 7th, 2026
Registration MUST be received by May 9, 2026, for the local Race.
Wheels: "Z-Glass" supplied by driver - wheel swap - timer differential.
Stickers: All-American and local stickers placed on car per directions.
All cars must be updated to the 2026 All-American rules.
Inspections: Stock, Superstock, & Master inspections will be:
Wednesday June 3th 5:30-7:30 pm, Topside Blue Barn

TO REGISTER YOU MUST:
1. Complete the Soap Box Derby Local Race Registration Form.
Be sure the form is complete with Both Racer and Parent/Guardian signatures.
2. Include a Photocopy of the Racer's Birth Certificate. (I have a copy on file if you sent one in previous years.)
3. Complete the Racer Information Card (Please Print Neatly).
4. Complete the T-Shirt & Crewneck Sweatshirt Order Form - Required For Racers.
5. Optional, if ordering additional items; complete T-Shirt & Sweatshirt Order Form
6. Optional, $5.00 Each, To Cheer on your racer; Fill out the Program Book Good Luck Message Form.
7. Write a Thank you letter to our Sponsors. (Dear Derby Sponsor, Thank you for……..).
8. Submit all forms online and make payment in full via Zelle to 330-388-8200
Or Print and Mail all Registration items (1-7) along with Full Payment (Race Fee + Extras Ordered)

REGISTRATION FEE: The registration fee is $50.00. Make check payable to: Akron Area Soap Box Derby. This includes your one 5 X 7 photo per racer. These individual pictures will be taken on inspection night.
IMPORTANT DATES:
Saturday May 9th: LOCAL REGISTRATION MUST BE RECEIVED BY THIS DATE.
Also due with registration, Program Book Good Luck Messages.
Wednesday May 13th: Trial runs 6-8 pm. Practice on the track (Weather permitting).
Tuesday May 19th: Trial runs 6-8 pm. Practice on the track (Weather permitting).
May 23rd & 24th: Akron Spring Rally (Pre-registration recommended, Rally fills up fast).
Wednesday June 3rd: ***Car Inspection, and impoundment, Topside 5:30-7:30 pm. Please call if this is a problem.
Saturday June 6th: 9:00 am - Akron Local: Stock, Superstock, and Master Racers, Meet at the bridge. Race day Board members be there at 8:00 am.
Sunday June 7th: Local race rain date.
Thursday June 25th: Akron Local Banquet at Uniontown Community Park, 3696 Apollo St. NW, Uniontown
*** ALL CARS MUST BE IN LINE BY 7:30 PM ON INSPECTION DAY, IT WILL END PROMPTLY AT 9:00 PM, IF YOU ARE NOT FINISHED YOU WILL HAVE TO RETURN THE NEXT EVENING.
