We're bringing our first silent auction to Empty Shelf — an evening of original art, handmade pieces, and community, all under one roof.

This one's a little different from our usual markets. Instead of a full lineup of vendor tables, we're gathering a curated collection of original works from makers across the AKASSA and Empty Shelf community. Each piece submitted with care, and each one ready for a new home. Think paintings, illustrations, ceramics, textiles, and other one-of-a-kind pieces you won't find twice.

Here's how it works: every piece on the table has its own bid sheet. Write in your bid, wander off to explore the rest of the shop or Old Town Pasadena, and come back oftent o check where things stand. Bids can be raised throughout the afternoon, so the table only gets more interesting as 4 o'clock turns into 7. No paddles, no pressure — just good pieces and friendly competition.

A portion of every winning bid supports Asian Youth Center, a local organization doing meaningful work in our community. So beyond taking home a piece you love, your bid does a little more good on its way out the door.
