Aire Catchment Network (ACN) partnership meeting:

• AM: Hybrid at JBA Broughton office or online
• PM: In-person only at Broughton Sanctuary

All are welcome to this ACN partnership meeting, but it's first come-first served, with some organisational limitations attached to attending in person** (see footnote)!

There will be 4 tickets on offer, for you to choose from:

Ticket 1: In-person at JBA's Broughton office for the morning presentations

Ticket 2: Online for the morning presentations

Ticket 3: Lunch at JBA Broughton office

Ticket 4: Site visit to Broughton Sanctuary

We've got an interesting mix of activities, with the first presentations confirmed:

AM: project presentations at JBA’s Broughton office

• StrIngs of Pearls wetlands feasibility study. Vivienne Main, Aire Rivers Trust.
• Erosional processes & management (working title) on the River Aire at Gargrave, Sam Watkiss, JBA.
• NFM in the Aire - TBC
• Other local projects including nature-based solutions - TBC

During break & lunch:

• Demonstrations of an Augmented Reality (AR) Sandbox for nature based solutions with Alex Scott, JBA Trust.

PM: presentation and site visit to , hosted by Prof. Alastair Driver, rewilding specialist & River Six, Broughton Sanctuary's ecologist.

This meeting and site visit provide great opportunities to connect with like-minded individuals and organisations passionate about regenerating the River Aire. Learn from others, share your thoughts and work together towards a better Aire catchment. Whether you're watching remotely or are in the room for the presentations, there will be opprtunities to ask questions.

** Ticket limits for each organisation**

We are limited to 30 places in person, both for the morning and afternoon sessions, and they don't have to be the same 30 people! We would initially like to open it up to a max of 2 people per organisation, so please discuss with your colleagues as to who will attend, and hold your own waiting list. If you are not sure who to ask, please contact us. If there are further places, we will let you know.
