Upcoming Mentorship Session – Filling Your EASA Logbook the Right WayDue to overwhelming requests, our next mentorship session will focus on a critical topic for aspiring aircraft maintenance engineers:
How to properly fill your experience logbook to meet EASA standards.
Whether you're just starting your journey or preparing to apply for your initial license, this session will guide you through the essential steps, referencing the exact EASA regulations and Acceptable Means of Compliance (AMC).
What You’ll Learn:
1] How to structure and document your experience in line with EASA Part-66.A.30 and AMC 66.A.30(a)(4)
2] The difference between:
-a) Basic Experience: Required for initial license application (without type rating).
-b) Type-Specific Experience: Required for aircraft type endorsement, involving On-the-Job Training (OJT) as per Appendix III, paragraph 6 of Part-66
This session is tailored for those preparing to apply for their initial EASA license—we’ll walk you through the logbook expectations, task documentation, and supervisor validations.
