Since its founding in 2019 by Kenyan independent curator Thaddeus Wamukoya, Tewasart and Patrons has been committed to supporting and promoting emerging contemporary artists from East Africa and across the continent. This journey has been made possible thanks to the unwavering support of our Patrons and the vibrant community of art lovers who attend our pop-up exhibitions and engage with our digital catalogues.

For the past seven years, we've operated remotely, curating impactful three-week pop-up shows and intimate one-day private viewings dubbed Artists Lounge. Now, we’re excited to announce a new phase of growth.
We are restructuring, and to celebrate, we warmly invite you to our upcoming event on Saturday, 30th August 2025, from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM at the Trademark Hotel, Nairobi.
