Our speaker for October is Oscar Davalos, Chief Building Official for the City of Alameda.
Mr. Davalos began his career with Alameda in March 2024. He most recently served as the Chief Building Official for the City of San Pablo, managing permit and licensing functions, inspections, plan check, and code enforcement. Prior to working for San Pablo, Mr. Davalos held other management roles, including Deputy Building Official and Plan Check Manager with the City of Corona and Inspections Supervisor/Training Officer with the City of Anaheim.
