After the creation of the National AIDS Memorial Quilt by Cleve Jones in 1985, our community created its own HIV Memorial Quilt in 2009, handmade by members of the Northeast Regional AIDS Coalition. In honor of Pride Month, NEPA Regional HIV Services is taking the quilt on tour! Join us when it makes an appearance from June 18 to June 23 at the Sordoni Art Gallery to view the quilt and learn more about its creation, message, and the impact it’s had on our community.
The mission of the Sordoni Art Gallery is to encourage an appreciation of the arts and an understanding of its role in society through direct engagement with art.
