Abstract: In this lecture, I will look at the different approaches to the study of the textual development of the Book of Joshua, and suggest how these approaches may be used simultaneously.
Bio: Kristin De Troyer is Professor of Hebrew Bible / Old Testament at the University of Salzburg, Austria. She also is Honorary Professor of Hebrew Bible at the University of St Andrews. Moreover, she is vice-President of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts and is currently also Distinguished Fellow at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
