AIA Indianapolis November Program

This presentation explores how Landmark Columbus Foundation (LCF) cares for, celebrates, and advances the cultural heritage of Columbus, Indiana and like-minded communities. It shows how LCF’s three program arms—Progressive Preservation, Exhibit Columbus, and the Columbus Design Institute—use research, conservation, public exhibitions, and collaborative projects to transform cultural assets into civic value. Participants will learn how these initiatives model community‑led design, and a new emerging strategic plan could help scale this model statewide.
