The 2024 AIA Indianapolis Annual Meeting will start at 5 p.m. The slate of 2025 officer candidates to be voted on during the annual meeting, as selected by the AIA Indianapolis Nominating Committee, are as follows: President - Marlee Brabin Cawthorn, AIA; Vice President - Kate Warpool, AIA; Treasurer - Megan Phillippe, AIA; Secretary - Chase Miller, AIA; Ex Officio - Jason Larrison, AIA.

This year’s CEU program will be presented by Todd Zurick of Hollaender Manufacturing Co.

Railing Design as Applied to the ADA Standards for Accessible Design and IBC

The purpose of this presentation is to educate on all aspects of railing design as applied to National ADA and IBC standards. The railing is a permanent fixture included in the design to provide guidance and stability while preventing falls and injuries. By following the codes and regulations for railing design, materials, and installation provided in this presentation, architects can design for a more accessible and barrier‐freeenvironment while meeting all relevant standards and codes.
