Assess AI vendors, records risks and procurement questions.
About this Event

Before your organisation brings in an AI tool, know what you're agreeing to.

Choosing an AI vendor involves more than comparing features, pricing, and capabilities. Organisations also need to consider how AI tools handle data, what records need to be retained, what procurement risks may arise, and where human review is required.

The AI Procurement, Records and Vendor Due Diligence Lab is a practical session for organisations moving towards more accountable AI use. You'll work through real-world considerations for assessing AI vendors and identifying procurement, records, and data risks before making a decision.

This lab is designed to help you ask better questions, assess potential risks, and create a more structured approach to AI procurement and vendor assessment.

What You'll Explore
  • AI Vendor Due Diligence: Identify the key questions to ask when assessing an AI provider.
  • Records Management : Consider how AI-generated information and records should be handled.
  • Procurement Risk: Identify important risks and considerations before selecting an AI tool.
  • Data Safety: Consider how organisational and sensitive information may be handled.
  • Human Review :Identify where human oversight should remain part of the process.

What You'll Take Away

You'll receive practical resources that can be used beyond the session, including:

  • Vendor Due Diligence Checklist
  • Records and AI Prompt
  • Procurement Risk Filter
  • Human Review and Data Safety Checklist
  • A clearer set of next steps for strengthening AI capability within your organisation
