AI International Film & Music Video Awards

Explore live-action, hybrid, and AI techniques with a growing community of filmmakers, writers, actors, and creative artists . The previous festival at Promenade Playhouse sold out.
Unlike traditional theater screenings, this event is presented as a seated salon-style evening with reserved tables, bringing filmmakers, VIPs, and audience members into a shared space designed for conversation as much as cinema. Drinks and authentic Spanish tapas will be available for order throughout the evening.
VIP ticket holders will be seated with filmmakers and film crews wherever possible.

The historic El Cid property on Sunset Boulevard, originally occupied in 1906 by cinema innovator D.W. Griffith, has been connected to creative Hollywood innovators for more than a century, in various configurations touching the lives of artists including Lillian & Dorothy Gish, Mae Marsh, Donald Crisp, Bette Davis, Vincent Price, Gary Merrill, Marlon Brando, Ed Wood, and even Carol Burnett.
Now it becomes the stage for a new wave of cinematic innovation.
A Day of Radical Transparency Highlighting this month’s showcase is an exclusive global slate featuring six world premieres and numerous festival debuts where the true craft lies in passionate storytelling and directorial expertise.
Following each screening, the dialogue opens up immediately between the audience and filmmakers in attendance as well as 16 international filmmakers streaming live via Zoom. With no filters, no scripted talking points, and no algorithmic mediation, creators will explain in real time exactly what compelled them to create.
