About this Event
Artificial intelligence is becoming part of everyday life, but for younger learners, it’s important to explore it in ways that are safe, age-appropriate, and guided.
This hands-on workshop introduces students in grades 3–6 to the basics of AI through creative activities, simple explanations, and structured exploration. Students will learn what AI is (and what it isn’t), how it can be used to spark ideas and solve problems, and why privacy, honesty, and critical thinking matter when using technology.
Rather than focusing on advanced tools or shortcuts, this session emphasizes curiosity, creativity, and digital citizenship. Activities are designed to support imagination while reinforcing responsible use and healthy boundaries.
No prior experience is needed, just curiosity and a willingness to learn.
Students are encouraged to bring an iPad (or other tablet/device) if they have one; a device is helpful but not required.
This session is free of charge and limited to 12 student participants. Please register early to reserve your spot. Parents/guardians may attend with their child if space allows. Email to request a parent/guardian seat.
