About this Event

What it is: A hands-on workshop to help Metro-Detroit nonprofits better understand and unlock AI tools.

Why it matters: Metro-Detroit nonprofits have a outsized impact on education, housing, workforce development, health and the arts but their staff and leadership are often stretched thin. This 2.5-hour workshop is designed for nonprofit staff new to AI who are interested in learning how to harness the power of AI safely to supercharge your mission.

What you’ll learn:

  • How to navigate AI safety and data security
  • How to use tools like ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude
  • How to simplify fundraising and storytelling with tools like Gamma & VO
  • How to manage admin and grant work using smart AI tools
  • Real-world use cases you can implement during and after the workshop
