AI Focus Group Workshop - In Person

Starting this September, Christiaan Verwijs, Prof. Dr. Karen Eilers, Prof. Dr. Daniel Russo, and Barry Overeem are bringing together practitioners and researchers to develop a practical framework for human-centered AI. By combining scientific knowledge with real-world experience, the initiative aims to identify the principles, strategies, interventions, and guardrails that organizations need to adopt AI responsibly.

During this interactive online meetup, you'll participate in the AI Focus Group Workshop. Together, we'll explore your experiences with AI in the workplace and generate insights that contribute directly to this research initiative.

You'll experience the complete workshop from a participant's perspective. The workshop has been designed so that you can easily facilitate it afterward in your own organization. By repeating it with your colleagues, you'll create valuable conversations locally while contributing even more insights to the research.

This meetup is part of the Reflexive AI action research initiative, in which researchers and practitioners collaborate to develop practical guidance for human-centered AI. The resulting framework will be published under a Creative Commons license and submitted to peer-reviewed academic journals.

Our initiative is overseen by a peer-review board consisting of Jutta Eckstein, Robert Huberts, Melanie Schäfer, Ralf Tauscher, Astrid Claessen, Tobias del Fabro, and two additional members coming.
