About this Event
Welcome to "Pitch Global CVC Leadership Hybrid Summit in partnership with Silicon Valley SBDC on 15th March 2023.


The event will take place at the Martin Luther King Library (library.sjsu.edu) 3rd FL (SJPL Workspace) *Free parking with validation is available at the Fourth Street Garage (44 S 4th St. San Jose, CA 95112) for a minimum 150 participants. We also have an adjacent classroom (Room 213) as an exhibition hall/Demo space for presenting startups as well as another classroom (Room 255) which will be a VIP Green room/CVC Lounge for Speakers and guests.
We recently hosted Pitch Global CVC Leadership Conference as a part of our outreach on behalf of Norcal SBDC funded through California Governor's Office of Economic Development and Small Business Administration to CVC's and other investors who are investing in Silicon Valley in startups which can create Economic Impact and jobs.

Agenda:
12.30 –1 pm: Registration and Setup.
1 pm: Pre-Opening Remark & Sharing of the Vision for PG CVC AI Summit.
1.05 pm—1.20 pm: Opening keynote on "AI Investments: A CVC perspective" by Tarik Galijasevik, Managing Director& CVC head of Allstate Ventures, ranked one of the top CVC's in the world.
1.20 –1.40 pm: CVC & AI Panels. How entrepreneurs can connect with EU &Asian CVC's.. Participants confirmed include Sebastian Spitzer of Schaffler, Ryu Fukuda of Panasonic, Sushil Kalyam, Director of Singtel Ventures.
1.40—2.30 pm: Selected startups presenting
2.30 –2.45 pm: Q&A Style keynote by Dong-Su Kim, CEO at LG Technology Ventures on How entrepreneurs can approach CVC's for both funding& Partnerships.
2.45 –3.25 pm: Selected Startups Present.
3.25—3.40 pm: Q&A style interview/chat with Gayathri Radhakrishnan, Partner Hitachi Ventures, on How entrepreneurs can connect with AI investors conducted by R. Paul Singh, long term Board Member of TIE Silicon Valley, + Startup Educator/Adjunct Prof at UC Berkeley & North Eastern University & COO at Modern Data.
3.40 –3.55 pm: Q&A Style keynote by Raymond Zheng, Sr. Managing director of Honda Xcelerator Venture, on How entrepreneurs can Partner with Corporates.
3.55 ---4.10 pm: Q&A Style keynote TBD. How entrepreneurs can approach CVC's for Funding especially in AI.
4.10 –4.25 pm: Q&A Style keynote by Dr Kevin Chen, CVC Head of Lam Research Cap on How entrepreneurs can connect with Semiconductor CVC's for both funding & partnerships.
4.25 – 4.30 pm: Award Ceremony. Silicon Valley Platinum Impact Award to Tarik Galijasevik, CVC Head of Allstate Ventures. Award ceremony & Closing Remarks conducted by Thomas Kulz, Managing Director of Niterra Ventures & PG Board member. Award given by last year's awardee, Hee Suk Jung CVC Head of Korea's SK Group.
4.30 – 5 pm: Networking.
Attendees include Pramila Mullan of IBM Ventures, Deepak Mishra of Hitachi, Elias Chavarria of TDK Ventures, Investor from Bosch, Mads Bering of State Farm Ventures, Ravi Mulugu of UL and more to come.
5 pm---After event Networking at a neighboring Bar.
Other Speakers include Ryan Lewis, Partner SRI Ventures.
Note: Some of the Panels might be converted to Q&A type mini-keynotes if really senior investors show up or we will add some extra keynotes to the Agenda.
