Goal:Empower diverse teams to create practical tools—ranging from simple apps and dashboards to creative data visualizations—that increase awareness, improve preparedness, or support decision-making for climate resilience in Florida.
Hackathon Objectives:
- Develop AI-powered tools (apps, maps, graphics) that help Florida residents and authorities predict, prepare, and respond to flooding, hurricanes, and heatwaves.
- Foster interdisciplinary collaboration across developers, designers, subject matter experts, and community advocates.
- Create tangible prototypes that can be further developed into real-world solutions after the event.

Day 1: Saturday
- 8:30am: Doors open—get caffeinated and connected.
- 9:00am: Kickoff with lightning-fast climate insights & real problem briefs.
- 9:35am: Pitch your big idea. Meet your dream team.
- 10:15am–6:30pm: Dive into Build Sprints—create, test, and level up your project with access to fresh data, mentorship, and surprise skill boosters.
- 7pm: Night Hack—push boundaries, work late, or recharge (your call).
Day 2: Sunday
- 9:00am: Final push—polish and prep with user feedback and pitch coaching.
- 11:00am: Demo your solution to expert judges and a live audience.
- 12:35pm: Feel the suspense—awards for Best Overall, Most Innovative AI, Best UX, and Community Impact.
- 1:00pm: Celebrate, connect, and explore next steps at our networking lunch.
