Ready to test your AI skills in a fast-paced challenge?

Join us for the AI Case Hackathon, an exciting competition hosted during the Thunderbird AI Conference 2026 in partnership with the Thunderbird Case Series. This interactive experience invites students and AI enthusiasts to explore how artificial intelligence can transform the way business cases are analyzed, written, and solved.

Starting at 1:15 PM, participants will receive a real-world business case challenge and have three hours to develop an AI-powered solution. Using tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and other AI platforms, teams will collaborate to analyze the case, generate insights, and craft a compelling strategy.

Whether you're an experienced AI user or just beginning to explore its capabilities, this hackathon is designed to be hands-on, collaborative, and high-energy. You’ll learn practical ways to use AI for business problem solving while competing alongside peers from across Thunderbird.

Participants can register individually or as teams of up to four people. After the working session, selected teams will present their solutions to a panel of judges, followed by a live awards ceremony.

Top teams will take home cash prizes of up to $1,000, along with recognition during the closing session of the conference.

Note: Lunch and evening snacks will be is provided for all attendees of the conference and participants of the hackathon from 12 noon onwards.
