AI is rapidly reshaping classrooms and courtrooms, and this session brings UWA law students, staff, and professionals together to examine how generative tools are changing learning and legal work, from assessment integrity to career readiness, through practical examples from candid discussion about the skills, standards and safeguards tomorrow’s lawyers need; we will explore the ethical, practical and policy impacts of AI on study, outline current uses of AI in legal practice, and encourage cross-disciplinary discussion between students and academic staff.
