AI Agents Workshop: Session 2 In the loop
About this Event
Wednesday 10 June 2026: Lunchtime
Geovation (The Quadrant)
What this is
Session 2 of the Geovation AI agents working group. A practical, founder-led space to share what's actually working, and what isn't, when we use AI to get real work done.
This session is about AI in the loop, not AI taking the wheel: how to use these tools to lighten the research and workflow load while keeping the human in charge of judgement. That theme came directly out of feedback from session 1 and the wider accelerator cohort.
The format is more discussion-heavy than last time. The most useful 30 minutes of the session will be the room talking to itself.
What we'll cover (75 mins)
Welcome and room check (5 mins)
Quick recap of the four-word framework from session 1: model, harness, prompts, tools. What did you try this fortnight?
AI-assisted customer research, marketer in the loop (Tessa, 15 mins)
A real customer-research workflow walked through end-to-end. What the AI gets right, what it gets wrong, where the marketer stays in the loop.
Wiring AI into your actual work: tools, MCPs, and file systems (John, 15 mins)
A practical demo: connecting Claude to email and calendar, what MCP is and why it changes things, and the pattern for organising your own files so agents can use them.
Group discussion (30 mins)
The room shares workflows that worked, workflows that didn't, questions you want chewed on as a group. Bring something see below.
Wrap and what's next (10 mins)
What surfaced, what session 3 should be, take-home one-pager.
What to bring
- Yourself
- A laptop (optional)
- One of: a workflow you've been running that's working, a workflow you're stuck on, or a question for the room — see below
Before you join
When you sign up, tell us one of:
- A workflow you've been running that's been working be ready to walk us through it in 2–3 minutes
- A workflow you've been trying to make work and getting stuck on, we'll troubleshoot it as a group
- A specific question you want the room to chew on
The session is mostly discussion, so the richer your bring-in, the more useful it'll be for everyone.
What you'll leave with
- Two real workflows seen end-to-end: customer research, and connecting AI to your day-to-day
- The patterns and pitfalls underneath both
- A clearer sense of how to wire AI into your own stack: files, tools, MCP connectors
- Whatever else the room surfaces in discussion
- Continued access to the Slack channel and a take-home one-pager
