AHYP Club: Bettis - Where Pittsburgh Aviation Took Off

AHYP Club: Pittsburgh History Series: Bettis - Where Pittsburgh Aviation Took Off will feature the Heinz History Center's Sue Morris and Brian Butko who will give a presentation on the former Bettis Airfield, which made its home in Wilmerding. Sue and Brian recently released a book on the airfield and its importance in Pittsburgh's aviation history. The book is entitled Bettis: Where Pittsburgh Aviation Took Off . Brian and Sue have written numerous books and articles on a variety of Pittsburgh subjects over the years and we are most pleased to be able to feature them as the first of our speakers.
