Stopping in at the VEC halfway through their Van Isle tour, AHRF is stoked to make their triumphant return to Victoria with a slurry of new songs in tow.
Featuring local cuties, Juniper Smile and Nanaimo up and comers, The Shindigs, this is a can't miss indie rock extravaganza.
AHRF is a raw independent alternative rock band from Squamish, BC. They pull inspiration from 2000s alternative rock and a variety of Canadian punk bands. AHRF’s lyrics are poignant, sarcastic, and self deprecating focused on a feeling or problem the narrator is struggling with. Muscular choruses, blistering guitars, and an intense rhythm section are all part the AHRF sound. AHRF writes, records, produces, mixes, and performs all their own music.

THE SHINDIGS are an Indie Rock band from Vancouver Island, Canada. Born from childhood ambitions, frontman Shea Peoples, lead guitarist Jacob Sampson, and drummer Matty Daniel grew up playing Green Day covers in the garage with dreams of one day making it to the big stage. After time spent playing in Jazz combos, where they met bassist Tev Uslu, and spending weekends jamming hard rock at local venues, the friends knew it was time to put something together. With the addition of rhythm guitarist Alex Peabody, the band quickly began writing original tunes inspired from their various musical backgrounds and the fluid lifestyle of the coast.
