AHP consultant practitioner study day, hosted by the CPPN in Cardiff
About this Event
The study day will be led by Dr Amanda Hensman-Crook, a consultant musculoskeletal physiotherapist with over 30 years’ practice, passionate about workforce transformation and innovation with co production to improve quality, impact, and personalised care for service users. Works in primary care and is a Visiting Fellow at the Health Sciences University. Is a Fellow of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and a former National Allied Health Professions Clinical Fellow for Health Education England. Led the development of First Contact Practice in the UK and the multiprofessional UK MSK advanced practice standards. Recently completed doctoral research exploring the definitions and the learning and development to consultant level practice. Has developed an accredited masters module to develop reflexive practice thorough affective learning with the purpose to develop consultant practitioners as transformational systems leaders.
