Ahmedabad's First Buildathon - Idea to Live App in 4 hours

You've seen the LinkedIn posts. Someone shipped an app in a weekend. Someone else automated half their support with AI. You've been telling yourself you'd figure this out "eventually."

Eventually is May 17.

Most people don't get stuck because the tools are hard. They get stuck because they don't know where to start. We're going to do this differently, together.

Meet your hosts

Parul Goyal is a Product Manager at Altimetrik, leading receiver-focused product for fintechs and large enterprises like Western Union across India, LATAM, and Southeast Asia. She also hosted GrowthX's biggest buildathon for women, taking 50 of them from idea to live app in 3 hours.

Vaibhav Bansal previously led product at Quicko (by Zerodha). He's now a Fractional Product Manager who takes on problems he finds interesting, using AI at every step to ship products end-to-end. He's also building ContentEz, an AI writing assistant with the vision of making content easy for everyone.

Satyajit Manjaria is building Unbias Lending, a borrower-first home loan marketplace focused on making lending more transparent for Indian consumers. His work blends fintech, product design, and AI-driven systems to solve messy real-world problems with simple consumer experiences.

How the day runs

• Pick your idea: Choose from a curated idea library or bring one you've been thinking about.
• Sharpen the scope: No building yet. Cut what doesn't matter and lock the brief. This is the part most people skip.
• Craft the first prompt: Write the prompt that builds your first version (the MVP) using ChatGPT or Claude.
• Build in Lovable: Head down. We're in the room helping you unstick. (Lovable is an AI coding agent)
• Demo your build: Show what you made. Yes, everyone!

By 2 PM you'll have a working web app. Yours. Something you can keep building on come Monday.

• Lovable is great for beginners. Any other coding agent like Claude Code, ChatGPT Codex, Bolt, Emergent also works.
• Curiosity and ambition
