Join us for a monthly gathering where community, conversation, and wellness come together at our new Health and Wellness Book Club in Evanston. Led by Ahimsa work/study students, Jennifer Kohrs and Ann Brownell, who bring warmth, insight, and a sense of community spirit to every gathering, our "club" will be a space for Ahimsa yogis to explore books that inspire healthier, more mindful living—one page at a time.

We will meet the second Sunday of each month to discuss the agreed upon books. For the first month, Ann & Jennifer have chosen the following book:

Perfectly Imperfect by Baron Baptiste
Baron Baptiste is the founder of the Baptiste Power Yoga method, which blends physicality, meditation, and self-inquiry. Perfectly Imperfect invites readers to explore the deeper dimensions of yoga beyond the poses, offering insights into how presence, acceptance, and vulnerability can lead to personal transformation.

After our hour long meeting, you might choose to unwind even deeper by joining the gentle, calming yoga class at 6pm (regular class fees apply). This can be a perfect complement to our conversations!

The book club is a FREE event! You must register however, and - of course - come prepared to discuss the book of the month. Whether you're a seasoned yogi, a curious reader, or looking to spark new habits, this club is for you.
