The impacts of the Sumas Prairie floods didn’t end when the water went down. For many farmers, farm families, and individuals in the agricultural community, the experience continues to bring stress, uncertainty, loss, and difficult emotions.
If you or someone you care about has been affected by the floods, AgSafe BC and AgLife invite you to take some time for yourself, connect with others, and learn about the mental wellness support available to you.

Join us for a welcoming afternoon where you can meet with AgSafe counsellors, connect with other producers and community members, enjoy a meal, and learn more about free, confidential counselling for BC farmers and their families.
You don’t need to be in crisis to reach out. Sometimes having someone to talk to can make a difference - whether you’re dealing with the effects of the floods, the pressures of farming, changes at home or work, or simply having a difficult time.
