Dear Customers, Social clubs & Sports club members, I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to emphasise the importance of your participation in the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM) of The Watton Sports and Social Club. Your involvement is crucial as we continue to build on the significant strides we have made over the past 12 months.
The centre now boasts a better organisational structure, improved management, and a stronger grip on our finances. While cash flow remains a challenge, we have successfully kept our head above water. Our partnership with Armoured Muscle Gym has been financially rewarding and one of our success stories of 2023/24, with increased sports bookings, event bookings, and room hire we are going in the right direction.
Additionally, we have formed stronger relationships with both the district and town councils, further solidifying our position within the community.
I urge all Watton residents who are passionate about the growth and success of the centre to consider expressing an interest in joining the committee. We are seeking volunteers with expertise in bookkeeping, events organisation, mid-level management, health and safety, and estates management.
Your skills and dedication can make a significant impact on our continued success. Please join us at the AGM to share your insights and help shape the future of our centre.
