This is the second of our 2025 monthly social runs, which aim to introduce runners to new and/or lesser-known trails in Cyprus.
The Agios Vavatsinia trails have been developed jointly by the villagers and Cyprus Trail Runners, with the aim of making Agios Vavatsinia a trail-running/hiking hub.
The 4km ‘blue route’ loop has already been inaugurated but this will be the first time that the 11km and 15 km loops will be put to the test.
The route is a mixture of jeep and single tracks, which wind through the mountains above the village.

The 15km route adds a 4km extra section to the 11km loop.
There is no charge for these social runs – the aim is to meet fellow trail runners and have fun exploring lesser-known areas of the island (south and north).
Meet at Chloe's Kitchen in the centre of the village. A delicious lunch is available after the run at the restaurant (vegetarian/vegan options available).
