This is a FREE community event designed for older adults, caregivers, and families looking to live healthier, stronger, and more independently.
As a featured experience at the Aging Well Expo, Mary Washington Healthcare will be on site to offer the Defying Gravity Program. Defying Gravity™ is an evidence-based falls prevention program that helps older adults improve balance, reduce their risk of falls, and maintain their independence through education, practical strategies, and interactive activities.
Attendees will have the opportunity to receive FOUR valuable health screenings (Balance, Vision, Medicine, and Home Safety) designed to reduce your risk of falls.
Screenings are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
