You are cordially invited to join the RINA SA/NT Section, for a presentation on management of aging platforms.
Glenn Brown will draw on his extensive experience in the aerospace and defence sectors to discuss some of the challenges that naval architects face in running platforms towards the end of their planned lives and onwards into life extension.
The presentation will consider the drivers that make it desirable to keep our older ships in service, and how Reliability, Availability and Maintainability is impacted by life extensions.
Case studies and lessons learned from some notable older platform sustainment projects will be presented, followed by the opportunity for a useful question and answer session.
