Your Brain on Music celebrates PCE’s new collaboration with Johns Hopkins University’s Alexander Grass Humanities Institute. Dr. Daniel Weinberger, Hopkins Professor and Director of the Lieber Institute for Brain Development, curates a unique program that explores how our brains respond to and interact with music and images. Brain scans, film clips, and scientific commentary harmonize with works by Bach, Pachelbel, Nino Rota, Felipe Lara, and a complete performance of Beethoven’s Eighth Symphony.

The entrance to the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg Center is located at the front of the building at 555 Pennsylvania Ave, NW. There will be no ticket admittance at the C Street Entrance. This entrance is handicap accessible.
